Momentum matters in ski racing. The athletes who progress most aren’t scrambling at the last minute. They’re planning ahead, securing their spots, and setting themselves up for consistent, high-quality training.
After a successful Year One Fall Camp at Big Sky, we’re carrying that same focus and energy into summer. Big Sky delivered across the board. Strong training blocks, committed athletes, engaged coaches, and a community that showed up. It validated the approach and reinforced what we believe: preparation and environment matter.
This season has also reminded us that snow is never guaranteed everywhere, especially early. Across much of the country, initial snowpack has been inconsistent. That’s exactly why our summer program at Mt. Hood remains such a critical pillar of development. Hood offers what racers need most in the summer months: deep, reliable snowpack and a proven training window that stretches over two full months.
Mt. Hood isn’t about chasing conditions. It’s about trusting them. Athletes can focus on repetition, refinement, and progression without disruption. Coaches can plan meaningful blocks instead of reacting day to day. That consistency is where real gains are made.
Signing up now isn’t just about reserving a spot. It’s about committing to your off-season with intention. It gives families time to plan, athletes time to prepare physically and mentally, and coaches time to build groups that maximize training quality.
Summer training is where foundations are built. The work done there shows up in confidence, speed, and resilience when winter arrives.
If summer ski racing is part of your goals, now is the moment to act. Secure your spot, get your plan in place, and head into the season prepared, not rushed.
We’re ready. The mountain will be too.
