- Dry land training and more.
This allows the campers to customize their camp adventure to meet their motivations.
Windsurfing in Oregon
NASC is one of the only camps that offers this after ski activity– it is super fun! We ride in our NASC shuttle to Hood River, one of the best windsurfing spots in the world. Big Winds windsurfing shop in Hood River provides us with state-of-the-art windsurfing gear–everything we need including wet suits, PFDs, and helmets. The coaches will provide instruction and supervision for all. Prior to the windsurfing activity, we have a dry land instruction class mandatory for all to go over basic safety and technique instructions. There’s nothing better than skiing in the morning and windsurfing in the afternoon!
Safety, Fun & Learning is the NASC philosophy
In all of the great adventure camp activities that we do at NASC, safety is always the main concern. We know if the campers are safe and having fun, they are going to learn. This has been the NASC philosophy since 1984, and it has been proven very successful for athletes of all ages over the last 30 years. More than 10,000 athletes agree — NASC is awesome!.
