The NASC Campus is at Cooper Spur Mountain Resort, Mt. Hood, Oregon. Without question, NASC has the best summer camp experience and campus available on Mt. Hood!
The NASC campus is nestled in the Mt. Hood National Forrest on the north side of Mt. Hood at Cooper Spur Mountain Resort, which offers luxury accommodations and gourmet food (see www.cooperspur.com). All the meals are home cooked, prepared by the chef with fresh local produce, and we even have steak for dinner! he Spur Steak House is located on the NASC campus and the restaurant staff prepares and serves the meals in the Spur Steak House restaurant.
The nine cabins have 6 beds each and the big log Alpine house has nine beds. Each of the warm cabins is two levels and has a spiral staircase, fireplace, TV for video review, and a kitchen. Daily housekeeping with fresh towels and sheets are also included. The NASC facility also provides 1 and 2 and 3 person hotel rooms for parents of younger campers or adult racers who would like a private room.
The boy's and girl's cabins each have a coach to help provide supervision and guidance. Camp NASC provides a safe and warm learning environment for all the campers to enjoy. NASC believes that great food and great accommodations allow the campers to focus more, and perform better!
NASC has a private field for field sports such as soccer, kick ball, ultimate Frisbee, and volleyball. The NASC Campus also has a private tennis court, a Frisbee golf course and four big hot tubs for a relaxing soak after an active day on the slopes and off.
